Important Info regarding Road Closure
We have recently been notified that E. Central Ave. will be closed starting August 3rd for up to a month, due to construction. As the Free Store is located on E. Central Ave., we have included other routes below:
From the North, South, and West to Free Store:
Starting from Central Ave headed east, Central is closed at the railroad (beginning at the Lake Street intersection). From Central, turn left onto Lake Street. Turn right at the next street, Reid Street. Turn right on Channing Street. Turn right on Fair Ave. At the curve, Fair Ave becomes Potter Street, which is our normal parking area.
From the East (36/37) to Free Store:
Turn onto Rt. 521 (Kilbourne Rd, on the north side of the intersection where Oakland Nursery and Dairy Queen are located).Turn left on Fieldcrest Dr. Turn left on Brittany Dr. Turn left on Vernon Ave. Turn left on Channing Street. Turn right on Fair Ave. At the curve, Fair Ave. becomes Potter Street, which is our normal parking area.
From the East (36/37) to Donation Center:
Turn onto Rt. 521 (Kilbourne Rd, on the north side of the intersection where Oakland Nursery and Dairy Queen are located).Turn left on Fieldcrest Dr. Turn left on Brittany Dr. Turn left on Vernon Ave. Turn right on Channing Street. Quick left onto Reid St. Turn left on Lake Street. Right on Winter Street to Donation Center.
