Our annual gift-giving event is around the corner! Every year we gather thousands of brand new toys and hand them out to families that are struggling financially. Parents choose the gifts while their children are entertained and cared for. It's an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with families in our community, and the day is filled with joy - gifts, Christmas carols, kid's crafts,  a Living Nativity, Santa Claus, cookies & treats & more! 

Last year we gave out 2,857 gifts and we'd love to beat that number this year! 

Saturday, December 6, 2023 from 9AM-1PM

Want To Get Involved?

  • Buy Toys! You can pick out gifts yourself, or do a Toy Drive with your workplace, church or organization. If you're doing a Toy Drive, please let our Director of Operations know at brandi.burke@commongroundfreestore.org or her cell: (740) 513-8009. This helps us have an idea how many toys we have coming. 
  • Visit our Amazon Wishlist to get ideas or to purchase gifts straight from there. Gifts purchased from our list will be sent to Brandi Burke's house and transported to the MOWS location the day of. Please DO NOT have gifts sent to the Free Store! We do not have space to store them. See below for Gift Drop-Off info. 
  • Volunteer the day of! It's an incredibly fun and rewarding experience that you are sure to love! Contact our Director of Outreach at bethany.vasek@commongroundfreestore.org, or on her cell at (740) 815-1333 to find out what slots are still left.
  • Know someone who could use some help with getting gifts for their kids this Christmas? Send them to the Free Store at 193 E. Central Ave., Delaware, OH! Signups are open in person at the Store now through Dec. 1st. 

Gift Drop-Off Days

Gifts will be dropped off at Delaware Christian Church on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 4-8pm, and Friday, Dec. 5th from 4-8pm. Please DO NOT have gifts delivered to the Free Store! We do not have space to store them ahead of time.
